I loved, loved, LOVED your take on being a young mom. I love how your ‘protective mom spirit' drips from your words in this short, measured breath of an article. But my favourite thing here is the tone you’ve chosen to write in — it’s so quiet, so unassuming in it’s honesty. You don’t even use exclamation points when anyone in your position would be typing in all caps, bold and riddled with exclamation points!

You’re already a wonderful mom, and you know that. I’m more excited about the daughter you’re raising, because soon she’ll be part of the world out there and there will be one kind, intelligent soul to combat five bad ones, and that’ll be your doing. ☺ xx
