Really enjoyed the article and fully on board with both the arguments made in here about dating. Thank you!

Once, I matched with this guy on Tinder and I asked him to meet. I always used to ask guys to meet as soon as possible to avoid my time being wasted. He showed up looking like a completely different, child-aged version of his Tinder self and I called him out. He said he had had those shots professionally taken and edited for his online dating profiles. I felt sorry for all the other women who must’ve fallen for this lie too.

But I didn’t end the date since I didn’t mind either way. But then he spent the entire hour talking about how it was so cool that I smoked joints. I asked him if he wanted to smoke up, and he said sure and kept sitting there, doing nothing. He wanted me to offer my stuff despite having spent twenty minutes regaling me with tales of his hash paraphernalia and anecdotes about his stoned adventure.

Slightly offended, I again told him that that wasn’t very polite and rolled us one. After all that he had told me, I thought he would at least be able to handle the stuff! He immediately started sweating and getting very shaky (not anything dangerous, turns out it was his first joint and he didn’t know what to expect and my stuff was very good quality so it had a strong effect on him) and well, I finally had to say “that’s it", call off the ‘date’ and after he calmed down a bit, drop him off at the nearest metro station.

Catfish my ass. I think some single parent just got a free afternoon of babysitting out of me and it cost me some of my precious stuff to boot!
